Throughout my career, I’ve undertaken many projects – both large and small. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be adding some of the projects I’ve done to this page to showcase my work.  If you see something you like and would like a quote on something similar, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Garden Summer House

This project first starts with a level foundation ,using these rise and fall feet gave me just what I needed to get that perfectly level floor .

Next comes the floor boarding and setting up the perimeter walls .4 x 2 timber was used so 90mm rigid insulation could be used to give a good degree of insulation. This thickness of insulation was used in the floor and roof too.

Next the roof, Firestone rubber roof covering was used this comes with a minimum of a 25-year guarantee.

Fully wrapped in a breathable membrane.

Before the insulation goes in, the first fix electrics must be installed.

Outside was clad in Canadian red cedar - a perfect choice for outdoor use. I did paint it with a protective oil on both sides just to give an extra layer of protection but this type of timber cladding doesn’t need any additional covering, due to the natural oils in the wood itself.

UPVC oak coloured doors and window was the choice to help blend in with the surroundings.

Once plastered inside and the walls painted, a rustic TV surround was made to use as a feature wall.

An ebony composite decking was installed to finish off the outside.

Complemented with decking lights and up and down wall lights gives a lovely effect.

And finally finished in time for Christmas.
